Being a preacher in addition to a woodworker, I long ago quit trying to seperate the two callings. So...you will find that one of my favorite things to make is crosses to remind all of us of the source of our salvation. Besides, mesquite is so hard and gnarly and full of cracks and worm holes that there are lots of spiritual parallels between it and humans. I just can't help but find the Holy in everything.
